Success is a Double-Edged Sword
Success is a double-edged sword. Andy Cohen suggested that Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s flourishing careers were part of the reason they called it quits after three years of dating.
The Reasons Behind the Split
During Monday’s episode of his SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy,” the Bravo head honcho addressed the beloved couple’s shock split in detail for the first time.
“They are both in the middle of an incredible amount of success,” the 56-year-old told listeners. “Both of them.”
Cohen noted that Conover “just opened a restaurant in Charleston” with co-star Austen Kroll called By the Way, and also has a pillow business called Sewing Down South. DeSorbo, on the other hand, has been busy with a “live tour” for her podcast, “Giggly Squad,” for the last four months.
Busy Schedules and Successful Careers
“They are both in the middle of an incredible amount of success,” Cohen said of the pair. “He’s got his restaurant, she’s got her podcast, they’re both doing really well. But I just think the more and more that that starts to happen, you know, you worry that it causes a strain or whatever.”
Cohen also mentioned that DeSorbo wasn’t at the “Southern Charm” premiere party, which was at Conover’s place in New York, which further added to the strain in their relationship.
The Future is Uncertain
Despite his assumption, the executive noted that “we still don’t totally know” the exact reason the two went their separate ways.
“So more to come on that, but I was very sad. Everyone loved them,” Cohen concluded.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the split of Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover highlights the challenges that come with successful careers and busy schedules. While the two have always been committed to making long-distance work, their separate paths may have ultimately led to their decision to part ways.
