Thank you for being here.
A Note of Gratitude
Thanks for making it possible (through your views, comments, loyalty, emails, friendship, clicks, and more) for me to still exist in this space, too. I am really grateful to still be sharing so much of what I love (not just food!), and I’m grateful that you are here for the journey, too.
Reflections on the Year
This year has brought many blessings and some challenges, too, to me and my family. Weirdly, I’m grateful for both. The humbling moments are definitely teaching me how to rely on Jesus Christ more. My rough edges are slowly softening as I really try hard to be more like Him. And the blessings in my life are abundant, even more so when I make a conscious effort to notice and thank God for them.
Holiday Plans
We will be celebrating Christmas in a tucked-in, homebody manner as a family. We’ll be missing my son, Walker, who is serving a church mission in the Philippines, but grateful my older son, Jackson, can travel home for a few days to spend time with us. After Christmas, we’ll be traveling for a quick trip to Utah to celebrate the life of Brian’s sweet grandmother who passed away this week.
Wishing You a Joyous Holiday Season
I truly hope you have a wonderful holiday season and that you will feel a measure of peace in your heart through the unique and everlasting joy that is available during this time of year.
Merry Christmas!
